A Lifetime and One Job Post Training Ago

Have you ever seen a picture of you and felt transported right back to that moment? That’s how I felt watching the job post training I filmed in 2020. It was filmed in my old house just weeks after we all learned the words “pandemic” and “Coronavirus.” I was there again. Nervous. Curious. Lost. It’s hard to believe that was only 3 years ago.

I’ve definitely earned some wrinkles since then. My personal life changed in almost every way it could. On the business side, I’ve learned a lot – about writing job postings, the biases everyone brings into this equation, and teaching techniques to make fixing those postings simple.

I’ve also learned over and over again just how important it is for every recruiter to know how to write a job posting.

Write A Job Post: A Recruiter Must-Have

This skill has to be on your resume not just because I’m biased. Clearly I think this matters. But there’s a bigger reason.

Knowing how to understand requirements and translate those into a conversation or writing is what makes you better than a robot. Any automation tool like ChatGPT can scrape whatever is published on the Internet and find more of that.

Knowing how to explain it in a way everyone understands, knowing how to stand out, and understanding what to do when it’s not working? That takes a brain, not more code. That’s the work of irreplaceable recruiting, HR, and talent teams.

My Job Post Training Is Live

I want to share this skill with all of you. For the last 3 months, I have been working behind the scenes to take all the insights I’ve gained and give our old course an upgrade in every single way. The quality, the editing, the templates, all of it. There’s so much more here than there was.

While everything has changed – from my life to the tools recruiters use every day – what hasn’t changed is why I wrote the course in the first place. I created this because even if you don’t have the best team leader, even if your team doesn’t have a training budget, you should be able to access affordable training that helps you get ahead. I truly believe knowing how to write a job post is one of those skills you must-have to succeed.

I want to make it really easy for you to say yes. I’m really proud of this course and I know it can help.
